In our HIIT sessions you can expect to work very hard for short to medium periods with period of low intensity exercise or complete rest during your recover. Due to the strenuous nature and the amount of energy you use these sessions tend to be shorter than a normal session with a more progressive warm up and cool down.
HIIT is great training for burning the calories during and after the sessions has finished.
Circuit training is both a great way to burn away fat whilst increasing strength and toning the whole body. We use a huge amount of different techniques, equipment and time scales to keep the body guessing. We work in groups, pairs or as individual’s dependant on what the session’s demand.
Contrary to what people believe this class is open to everyone regardless of age or running ability. As with all of our classes Run Camp is scaled up or down accordingly so everyone can benefit from it. At Run Camp we work on all the different aspects of running including stamina, speed, endurance and technique. We have various running based challenges for our clients to track their progress.
With running being such a primal element of fitness it would be foolish to avoid such a great fitness class.
We tend to format little challenges which will involve exercises designed to really work and develop your muscles. Whether it is with dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags or medicine balls this workout slotted into your weekly programme will build lean muscle and torch away unwanted fat in no time at all.
At X-PT we are keen on promoting a team mentality throughout the sessions and indeed outside of training too. The benefits of working within a team are endless and the results are conclusive throughout our bootcamps. Team-based Bootcamp encompasses all of the above training techniques; we just throw it into a team challenge and let our campers battle it out. The winning team earning bragging rights until the next session comes around.
