‘X-PT National 3 Peaks Challenge - June 13/14th 2015’

At X-PT we aim annually to commit to a fitness/endurance event. The 3 Peaks Challenge is one that has always stood out in terms of how arduous it is and the pressures associated with completion with a challenging timescale.
For those who aren’t familiar with this challenge the aim is to climb, descend and then travel between the 3 highest peaks in the UK, all within a 24 hour period.
Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon culminate in over 11,000 ft in ascent, approximately 25 miles in walking and nearly 500 miles travelling by vehicle between the locations.
The training in itself demonstrates a massive commitment from all of our challenge members. Every team member is attending monthly organised climbs and walks of many of the most challenging routes in the Lake District, Yorkshire and Scotland.
At X-PT we thrive on attempting things that at first may seem unrealistic, and then with methodical planning, make them a reality.
We are all excited and very determined!
